Any successful change is critically dependent on ensuring that the change fulfils its promise and stays embedded. Successful recruiting is no different. We can help you secure both.

 

Securing the medium and longer term is about pathfinding performance, with the firm and employee in tandem. The firm needs to convey a clear line of sight to the future (see our Advisory Services), so that the employee knows exactly what they are aiming for; the employee then needs to further develop their knowledge and skills to help deliver both the firm’s future and their own ambitions. Done properly, the two can be made to coincide and that, in turn, will help extend the longevity of each, increasing the return on both parties’ original investment.   

 

Our practical, hands-on coaching is geared to performance and draws on our own team’s extensive real-world experience of having been there and done it. We tailor programmes that transfer immediately usable leadership and technical skills and build on who the individual actually is, rather than some idealised persona or theoretical “type”. We are very clear on the difference between leadership and management and how to balance each. And naturally, we stand ready to help implement any of our Coaching recommendations.

 

An important connected factor in a new employee’s performance is the springboard provided by the onboarding programme.Too often, such programmes are overweighted with the firm’s needs. For example, the newby is invariably grounded in log-ins and compliance but rarely guided through the firm’s true culture; this matters because it’s key to successfully exercising their strengths and delivering results efficiently, quickly and without undue pain.  We can help design onboarding that will fully inform and accelerate across all the factors that help people to flourish early.
